# Release notes

## Upgrading

To upgrade Material to the latest version, use pip:

``` sh
pip install --upgrade mkdocs-material
```

To determine the currently installed version, use the following command:

``` sh
pip show mkdocs-material | grep -E ^Version
# Version 1.0.3
```
