- **Please Note:** Please install UVR to the main C:\ drive if you use the Windows installer. Installing UVR to a secondary drive will cause application instability.
### MacOS Installation
### MacOS & Linux Installation
- The stand alone version will be coming soon!

**A completed stand alone version for MacOS will be released soon.**
### Linux Installation
- Download and save this repository [here](https://github.com/Anjok07/ultimatevocalremovergui/archive/refs/heads/master.zip)
- Download Python 3.10 [here](https://www.python.org/ftp/python/3.10.9)
- From the saved directory run the following -
- Linux installs will need to be done manually. See the Manual install section, or try the Mac Build above.
```
pip3 install -r requirements.txt
```
- (If installing on MacOS) Once complete, download and unzip the archive containing ffmpeg to the UVR directory. Archive [download here](https://www.mediafire.com/file/zl0ylz150ouh366/ffmpeg_mac.zip/file)
This process has been tested on a MacBook Pro 2021 (using M1) and a MacBook Air 2017 and is confirmed to be working on both.
**PLEASE NOTE:**
- For MacOS, GPU selection will be disabled. However, if you are running a MacBook Pro running a M1/M2 processor, you can get MPS acceleration on the VR Models. It currently doesn't work with MDX-Net or Demucs. This version of UVR has been coded to automatically detect if M1/M2 processing is available and should work out of the box if it is.
- Drag-n-drop currently does not work for MacOS or Linux. It might come in a future update.
- So far everthing else is working as expected.
